Funkindustry
First influenced by pioneers of the Funk scene like James Brown, Earth Wind and Fire, Jamiroquaï, Tower of Power, Zapp to name a few, Funkindustry then drew inspirations from more recent artists such as Tuxedo, Bruno Mars or L'Impératrice, while discovering a real passion for Japanese City Pop.
From their 2021 album, 5 singles were digitally released in Japan through Friendship, including "Gimme All You Got" whose video features Japanese Lockin' dance crews, and "Suddenly" featuring Jua, rapper of Japanese, French and Cameroonian origins, which got into 7 Japanese playlists including Spotify Japan's Tokyo Rising and Apple music Japan's R&B New Releases.
In 2022, collaborations with Japanese artists continued with a "Remixed EP" by artists/beatmakers Orland and miida and The Department which came out in January 2022, followed by the single "Another One" which featured Hip Hop artist Wez Atlas, which received more than 100 000 plays on Spotify so far, from Japan and Asia mainly.
In 2023, Funkindustry released the EP "Midnight City Lovers" influenced by City Pop's sound which includes 5 duets with the following Japanese female singers: Asako Toki, Natsu Summer, chihiRo from JiLL Decoy Association, Eri Takenaka and Emi (Emiland/ex-Zukunashi). The EP cover features an illustration by Japanese artist, Hiroshi Nagai.
Kissing Fish records (sub label of Disk Union) released a special 7inch record including "I Want You Closer" with Toki Asako and "Loneliness" with Natsu Summer.
The A&R/executive production of the EP as well as the booking of the 6 shows of the Japan tour that the band did in June 2023 were handled by Nouvelle Collection GK.

As a Sync agent, we pitch, promote and license Japanese music for Films/TV, games and advertising markets overseas. We have direct contacts with 1000+ music supervisors & sync people in North America, Europe and Australia and we are identified as a provider for Japanese music.
To date, we have been able to secure a dozen sync placements in the USA, Australia, France, Germany on behalf of Japanese right holders.

Artists collaborations FR / JP (CNM)
As part of an exchange with the federations of the Japanese music industry, IMCJ (Independent Music Coalition Japan) and FMPJ (Federation of Music Producers Japan), the CNM (Centre National de la Musique) invites 5 French artists to participate to collaborations with 5 Japanese artists.
We are coordinating this operation locally on behalf of CNM.
PEERMUSIC NEIGHBOURING RIGHTS
Peermusic Neighbouring Rights (PNR) is the global independent leader in neighbouring rights. Peermusic Neighbouring Rights catalogues consist of 2500 artists and more than 300 labels and include international acts such as Bruno Mars, David Guetta, Rihanna, Billie Eilish, Metallica, Jean-Michel Jarre,...
We provided representation services for PNR in Japan (and for their neighbouring rights companies Premier Muzik, All Right Music, Global Master Rights).
Through our mission, PNR signed the representation of JVC Victor Entertainment and NUJABES catalogues for the world excluding Japan.
MAIA BAROUH (Saravah)
We coordinated the releases of Maia Barouh's 4 singles in Japan (Tokyo Ondo, Sushi, Tairyo, Half), set up digital distribution deal (with Friendship), some radio/press interviews and participated to the making of Maia's Tokyo promo & concert trip in June 2022.

In association with Music Cube (Peermusic Korea), we promote and pitch songs written/produced by Dino Sirius (pictured, Gosh Publishing) and Jonas ”Moonchild” Zekkari, Rebecka Strågefors, Emil Sundbaun & Felix Englund (MoonBase music) in the Korean music market.

Parisian transplant, formerly in the music publishing industry as A&R for many years, my music company is based in Tokyo since 2018.
I provide music consultancy, management, song-plugging, and resources in Japan. I also represent a boutique catalogue of Japanese indie artists and labels for synchronization worldwide.
A&R is a key approach to everything I do. With extensive networks in Japan and abroad, diverse fields of expertise including international development, licensing, music publishing & neighbouring rights, I aim to build bridges between Japanese and foreign music scenes, both ways.
